This last Saturday we had the opportunity as a Church family to go to the Houma, Louisiana area to participate in hurricane relief for the victims of hurricanes Gustav and Ike. Read about the morning session here. In the afternoon we traveled by bus to the south into Dulac. I shot some video along the way. Once we had gone down the road a good way we were dropped off the bus along the highway to see who we could help. There were a number of people out in their yards and doorways trying to get everything put back together again. We were able to help a number of folks along the highway. As stated in my longer entry on SitRep the work in Houma and Dulac was very gratifying. Everyone worked hard and there were even some light moments along the way! I want to thank those who went to work, those who supported those who went, and those who sent food and cookies for the workers and the victims. The whole experience was a pleasure.
…Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done [it] unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done [it] unto me. (Matthew 25:40)
